Eagle Academy, Inc. exists to promote cyberspace education as an alternative for families. If you are an educator, or have created a product of use to home schooling families, you can contact us about a course you would like to offer, or your product. From time to time we will post links to these on this page. We only post links to materials we find to be academically worthwhile for our students.To parents and students: Educators who have created course syllabi to offer through Eagle Academy can ask to have their syllabi posted here as Eagle Academy alternatives and electives. These courses are "alternatives" in the sense that you can decide whether or not you would like to employ the services of the instructor who designed the course and, in effect, hire them to teach the course for you. Under this option the instructor will make arrangements for meeting with you in cyberspace, assign the course work, and evaluate your performance in the course. Each instructor has determined his/her own prices. Eagle Academy will charge a $30.00 fee for adding these courses to your transcripts and maintaining a sample of your completed assignments for the course in in your portfolio. Many educators who are interested in creating these sorts of courses are college professors. Some of these courses were designed by home school parents. We think the overall quality of these courses is of sufficient merit to include them as alternatives for fulfilling Eagle High requirements.
