Does home schooling impact college opportunities?

It is our informed opinion that the concentration on quality education found in home schools provides a better preparation for a rigorous college education than that available through the majority of traditional schools. That this is generally upheld in practice is no longer seriously in question.

At Eagle Academy, the combination of emphasis on original sources and scientific method with the latest in information technology provides, in our judgment, the best possible foundation for higher education. Additionally, the level of our high school courses is of a quality rarely found in traditional schools.

Here is a reprint of a list prepared by Dan Endsley of Home Education League of Parents, listing more than 100 two-year and four-year colleges that have accepted home-schooled children. This list was based on information from Home School Legal Defense Association and other sources, current to early 1993. I have revised the format of the list enough that I may have introduced typing mistakes and other errors into Dan's original work (note: Formatting changes and World Wide Web linkages added by Eagle Academy.). Your suggestions for additions or corrections are welcomed.
