How do you begin homeschooling?

There are several routes that parents can take to begin home schooling their children:

• Parents can work together and do cooperative schooling. Different parents can take charge of different subjects, or of different ages of children.

• Parents can hire tutors or teachers to help educate their children.

• Parents can enroll their children in correspondence courses and use ready-made lesson plans. Parents can select one of the many existing curriculum packages to work with.

• Parents can also enroll their children in a home schooling guidance center that provides services such as record keeping.

• Parents can also establish an independent home school and totally take charge of the planning, as well as the teaching aspects of their child's education.
