Assignment I:
There is no substitute for reading books, poems, and essays by authors who lived during the Civil War era. Make a list of what you read this quarter and make special note of anything actually written during the era we are studying. Learn the correct way to make a bibliography of what you read. As you try and locate these books in your local library you can practice your library research skills.
