Science

Welcome aboard! This year at Eagle we are going to be studying the development of Modern Western Science and physical science, primarily basic chemistry. We strongly encourage you to obtain a copy of Dr. Sulfer's Night Lab. You also need chemistry textbook to use as a reference for the course. A good place to find one of these would be in a second hand bookstore near a college campus or at Amazon Books on the internet. You should pick up a copy ofThe Periodic Kingdomfor this class as we will have reading assignments from it later in the year. Visit the Chemistry section at Amazon Books and pick up a paperback on the history of chemistry (or try here if no longer found) if enrolled in Eagle High. This page will develop into our course syllabus. Each week you can visit and click on to find the notes for the week - along with suggested projects and assignments. We would like to thank the individuals working on the Chemistry Hypermedia Project for the scripts they provided we are using for your quizzes for this class.
